About DeLong Rigging Solutions
Out of chaos rises opportunity. Tyler DeLong, like many other individuals in the entertainment industry, found himself suddenly without employment in the spring of 2020 due to Covid-19. Through his searches for the next project, he had the realization that there was a need in the entertainment industry for qualified and experienced rigging experts to inspect rigging systems and advise on best practices. Thus, he started A Man, A Jeep, No Real Plan LLC to investigate this niche. Very quickly he realized that this need was larger than what he originally thought, and DeLong Rigging Solutions was born.
IATSE Rigging Proficiency Program (RPP)
DeLong Rigging Solutions is proud to partner with IATSE to provide the Rigging Proficiency Program.
The Rigging Proficiency Program (RPP) curriculum was developed by the IATSE Stagecraft Department as a training resource for IATSE workers.
The goal is to provide IATSE local unions with comprehensive, user-friendly training that will cover the fundamental knowledge essential to performing the duties of an entertainment rigger in the live events industry.

The DeLong name has been well known and respected in entertainment rigging for almost 50 years.
Our experiences have ranged from Metallica to Sesame Street Live, with some Blue Man Group, P-Funk, and Ain’t Too Proud in-between.
We have honed our skills on 5 continents and now want to put our experience to work for you.
We offer both on-site and off-site consulting, rigging inspections, repairs and installations of rigging equipment, training, designing/problem solving, and third-party crew supervision.
